That's a long list.
Some recent purchases (links are plain clean Amazon links without any tracking or referral codes) from the last week or so as I start ramping up:
If people would just learn 2 things about cooking it would fix 90% of bad meals. 1. learn to what temperatures their food should be cooked and 2. learn how to use salt.
Number 1 is solved with a $10 insta read thermometer that takes all the guess work out of it. Number 2 takes some practice but isn't hard to figure out if you're cooking regularly.
I have an Uncle who is terrible at both these and it shows. He pretty much ignores that different cuts of meat should be cooked differently and he seems unwilling to learn. A couple months ago he took a beautiful 7lb pork tenderloin and dumped some applesauce and brown sugar on it (which wasn't a bad idea), didn't add ANY salt or pepper and then wrapped it in aluminum foil and slow cooked it in a 250f oven for 6 hours. It tasted like chalk and despair.
