I agree with others that buying whole beans is the way to go. Store the beans in the fridge (slows oxidization) and use a french press or aero press. I personally only use the aero press now -- it's a total game changer and zero bitterness unlike the french press.
you can get it just about anywhere - walmart, target, amazon.
So it is a single serve maker with a plunger that pushes hot water through the filter and into the cup. Because it uses pressure it makes a more robust cup of coffee more similar to an espresso than drip coffee. I actual mix a bit more hot water directly into it because otherwise I will drink 3 and be WIRED.
After brewing clean up is like 30 seconds because you can just pop the grounds into the trash and rinse off the plunger/chamber.
They are super affordable if you want to check one out. Here is one for $30 that comes with 700 paper filters. You can also buy reusable metal filters for it.
If you enjoy coffee buy an aeropress. It is simple, portable and brews my favorite cup of coffee. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0047BIWSK?pc_redir=1405476415&robot_redir=1
Ok, this is officially one of the strangest question I've ever seen on this sub lol (not counting the person who asked if vomiting broke fast)
Coffee is extremely subjective and there's probably 10-15 different ways to make it. Are you trying to make just one cup or a lot? I personally love coffee and drink a ton of it. Cheap and easy method for a lot of coffee is just a standard 8 or 10-cup coffee machine or a Chemex for pour over coffee (I personally use a Chemex a lot). Buy whatever ground coffee you like - maybe start with a light or blonde roast for less acidity if you're not a coffee person. If you go the Chemex route, make sure you get the Chemex filters (or an alternative brand - search around Amazon, there are a lot of options). If you're just getting a standard coffee machine, filters are filters. Get whatever is cheaper or get a reusable one.
A good method for a single cup is an aeropress. They are awesome little gizmos that make great coffee once you get use to it.
There's no "recommended" type of coffee for IF. The only recommendation is to drink it black (if you can) so you don't break fast with calories. Some people do dirty fasts and do a little bit of milk or something similar. There's no right or wrong way tbh.
I really like the aeropress coffee maker and just got it a bit ago and its great. Puts drip coffee to shame and prepare to enter the world of fine coffee! Link: http://www.amazon.com/Aeropress-Coffee-and-Espresso-Maker/dp/B0047BIWSK
