Congrats on your new additions! One thing to remember is, just like people, individual cresteds have different skin types and hair types, one size doesn't fit all, and they go through stages just like we do as they grow. For instance, there's such a thing as puppy acne, just like there is baby acne. Doesn't necessarily mean the acne will be life long. So you're going to kind of go through some trial and error finding the right products for them. Also, a high quality, wholesome diet can have a positive impact on skin and hair, just like with humans. Great that you're getting input from your breeder on what's worked for your puppies' relatives.
Personally, I have a female powderpuff with a dry coat. I've found her coat comes out best when I use human hair care products, both shampoo and conditioner. I just use whatever I have in the shower for my own hair at the moment. Right now it's Dove anti-frizz. But, always a gentle, no-tear baby shampoo for her face. And in between washing, if her coat is looking dry or it's static-y, I spritz her with avocado mist and brush it through. She doesn't need frequent washings as she stays pretty clean. I brush her daily and clean her ears and do her nails every other week.
My male crested is a hairy hairless (HHL), and he's got environmental allergies and oily skin. He gets bathed every other week, sometimes more often. I use Dr Bronner's Tea Tree castile soap on him if I just need a clarifying wash. If he has been licking areas or shows signs of a yeast infection brewing, I use a shampoo with chlorhexidine in it like this one. Just like my powderpuff, I only use baby shampoo around his face. He normally doesn't need moisturizer or conditioner. He went through a puppy period where he had a lot of pimples but he grew out of it and now he just gets one or two here and there, nothing major. He also gets his hair brushed daily and ears and nails done bi-weekly.
Make sure you're washing their bedding from time to time, so they have a clean place to sleep too. Just like humans, you're more likely to have problems with acne if you don't keep up hygiene.
Here's the brush I use for mine. Gets the tangles out but doesn't pull.
