Scrape together another 50, and you have the best in production.
Last year on Black Friday, I picked up a pair of ATH-M50's for about $100 (EDIT: on amazon), and they currently retail for $137. An excellent pair of headphones in my opinion. I've brought them to a decent number of gigs in the last year, and haven't really had any issues with them. On some of the bigger systems I've played on (several thousand watts), the isolation was a bit lacking, but mixing was certainly still doable, and for the price you really can't ask for much better. So to answer your question, yes they do, and if the ATH-M50's go on sale again, I highly recommend picking up a pair. I use mine everyday (currently using them actually), and they're awesome.
After a little burn in, ATH M50's have been the greatest sounding over ears I've used in their price range (about $160), but they're studio headphones not "gaming headphones" so I'm not sure if they're what you're looking for. They're not the most comfortable for extended wear (2 hrs +) so maybe not what you're looking for.
Grado SR-60i. I don't know how broke you are, but you won't find another pair of headphones more worth the money around this price. Probably the most recommended headphones for this style of music (and rock/heavy metal in general). However, they're an open headphone so they aren't recommended if you'll be using them a lot in public. For public use, I have a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50. They're a closed back headphone and more comfortable than the Grados, but also a bit more expensive (although you can find some good deals if you look).
At 4PM PST ATH-M50's are going to be 45% off as part of a Lightning Deal, so it will only last a few hours. They are a great deal at $150, so getting them new for $110 is a steal.
Thinking about getting these for home entertainment purposes or these for music/gaming (read: TagPro) purposes.
Any experience with Sennheiser or Audio Technica products? I've never owned anything from either company but I know they are considered pretty top notch in terms of audio products.
Also, don't make me bribe you for the Otis Redding song!
