I'm in love with my butane soldering iron. It takes a little getting used to (like remembering to hold it so the exhaust doesn't burn what you're working on), and it gets finicky if you don't use Bernzomatic fuel, but it's great to have something that can fix shit 5 minutes before a show starts.

So, go with the Weller for reliability, Bernzomatic for portability.
