Takes between two weeks to two months for stuff to get to me as well, but my first fitting is in 9 days, and the prosthetic will take some time to be fabricated, and then I will need to go to stay at some hospital for the rehabilitation, so I assume it will get to me before I get my prosthetic, or at least I will not wait long between getting back home and me getting this protective bag.
Also I ordered more than a few items from AE, there are lots of things on Amazon that were originally from AE, and stuff that isn't fulfilled by Amazon is sometimes dropship from AE anyway. Since the Amazon delivery price is like half the price of the item, and I kinda loathe how Amazon orders arrive to my house (it's more hassle than ePacket), I choose Amazon just for special items that can't be found on AE. A totally different item, KZ headphones, is Chinese, and the AE store is the official one. I ordered the KZ ZSN Pro on July 6th:

They took their sweet time dispatching it (definitely not the amazon process), but it took only 11 days for it to get to the post office, and the people waiting felt sorry for me so they let me take it without waiting. So it was 16 days, which is pretty fast for AE.
And I just counted, I ordered like 120 items from them. Mostly very satisfied with lots of them, some were total crap, but It's me ordering crap, not AE's fault :D
I suggest you give them a chance. Some clothes will be, em, not the best quality, but they got some interesting items which you wouldn't necessarily find in Amazon. This is the first serious item I bought from them 5 years ago, it's still working and gave my old laptop not only a new life, but it works longer than the original battery, albeit it added a little bump to the laptop:

You can find similar item on Amazon, for 7 dollars more, and the shipping for me is another 10$! if they ship it to my country to begin with - this item can't be sent to me. The one on AE was sent, and the shipping? 2.17$!

So... Yeah I say go for AE when the price is right, or at least somewhat cheaper. And from what I've seen, Amazon delivery in the USA can be BAAAAD. You might be delightfully surprised.
