The trx4 is a very good platform to start with, and that bronco body is amongst the best. The truck will come a nice controller.

The $99 price isnt bad for the combo, but extra batteries will make it expensive ($70 traxxas 3s 4000mah lipo vs $35 or less from amazon for similar spec)

If you dont mind putting in a little effort understanding LiPo batteries and chargers, you can pick up 3s 4000mah Lipo from amazon for about $35, and a good lipo charger for about $40.
