I mean mate, I tried typing in Japanese mechanical pens into Google market and got this: http://i.imgur.com/x6biuVL.png, a link to amazon in dollars dude. I literally have never had to use any other currency in my life other than dollars until I left the US, and I actively shop outside the U.S. online. I mean I just bought a CM Storm Keyboard, SteelSeries Mouse and Headset and a display adapter for my Xbox 360 in the last month, all foreign companies that shipped from abroad, but never used or was shown anything except $.
> While amazon may be very comprehensive, it surely cant cover everything
While this may be true, I dont know if it is, surely there is another American middleman that does cover it.
Like I said, I just never ever have had to use anything other than the dollar and I am pretty sure it is only really, really specialty goods that arent available through stores that use the dollar. I cant think of anything I regularly buy that doesnt by default use the dollar, and I consider myself a pretty worldly person, I travel often and know more than one language, which is both abnormal for most Americans.
So I mean, YMMV but, yeah...
Edit: idk why I screenshotted that shit. Maybe because I thought it would be different for others. Here is another link to mechanical pencils from Japan sold in dollars, I never have to see yen or anything like that. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005FTCNZG/ref=pd_aw_sbs_op_4?refRID=0JWYF5MZY1BS1CAWNN8A
