This may be what you want. I've used it (not that one, a 4 port switcher) for switching between consoles to my one large HDMI monitor. I don't know if it's Rift compatible with all the power/bandwidth issues though. I'll test mine tomorrow after work and let you know.

Depending on your card, it may be easier/more reliable to get another cable to run from your card to your monitor. I have a 25FT hdmi cable connected to my TV with a HDMI to DisplayPort adapter (as it carries sound vs DVI/VGA) and the two displays coexist happily. The desktop icons shift around when you launch the oculus software as windows detects it as a display.
