No, because two sticks are $120. The HOTAS is $110 on sale.

T.16000M is usually recommended as a good place to start, has all the basic controls and is generally a pretty good stick (particularly for the price), and can be expanded with throttle and pedals later if desired. The stick itself comes with a very simple throttle slider (you may still prefer to use the keyboard for this at first) and twist-yaw controls, along with some particularly useful features that cheaper sticks might not include, such as an 8-way hat switch.

Hey, just wanted to give you a heads up after doing some poking around. That appears to be a knockoff stick deliberately labeled as close as possible to the real deal, with a huge markup.

The real thing is the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS and appears to still be about sixty bucks.

Yeah, for a used one in questionable condition.

These are the new ones

Buy two Thrustmaster T16000 Joysticks, they go on sale on Amazon in 3 days for $59. I just ordered two. Cheers

Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 came out. Now there's a huge demand for sticks, because it's basically impossible to fly with keyboard and mouse in that game (I alpha tested it)

Picked up a TMS 16000m fsc (just the stick) on an auction for $50 a couple months ago, and managed to get a CH pedals from an auction too.

The auctions were Amazon returns and basically new in box, and thankfully both work perfect.

Best option right now is watch for holiday sales or Craigslist which I've seen full sets on as well.

Eventually I'd like to get a throttle like this

I actually use the pedals for steering in naval, so I can free my left hand for other buttons when in a blue water ship (because they take an hour to turn) and toyed with using the toe forward / back axis for naval throttle but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped.
