That is odd. I am on 10.14.4, and I bought an official switch controller this is it https://www.amazon.com/PowerA-Enhanced-Wireless-Controller-Nintendo-Switch/dp/B07GXJHRVK/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=nintendo+switch+controller+zelda&qid=1591917015&sr=8-4
Ok, I got it connected to Bluetooth (I wasnt holding it down long enough for the lights on the controller to start flashing from slow to fast flash). However when the controller is connected the lights dont stop flashing and show the battery status as i think theyre meant to. Just seen your link. you dont actual have the same controller as me so not sure if you will know what im referring to regarding the flashing light statuses
I always recommend getting the PowerA Emhanced Wireless Pro Controller and some micro usb rechargeable AA batteries. The controller doesn’t have rumble, but it’s not super necessary in this game. It DOES have gyro and 2 extra programmable buttons which I use for Booyah and This Way so I can communicate as I’m moving around. But you could also set them to be the triggers to make using items like Inkbrushes easier to use.
