I haven’t used it, but AT is a reputable company. And if the outlet sucked you would see complaints. I would pick up a refurb and toss the rest of your budget at getting the best speakers you can. Like https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-R-51PM-Powered-Bluetooth-Speaker/dp/B07FKCP7PZ while they are on sale Or do you already have an amp?

The base T1 does not include a pre-amp like your LP60x does. You will need to go up to the T1 Phono for a built-in (or buy an external)

I would agree with laxar2 that something like the Klipsch R-51pm on sale for 299 would probably give you more bang. And the R-51pm includes a phono stage preamp so if you want to upgrade your TT later you dont have to worry about it.

Receiver plus passive speakers sounds like something you don't need. Do you think you would want this in the future?

R-41PM for 299 (239 on ebay unopened box in texas or opened in cali), or R-51PM for 328 should sound hot and not take up extra space (249 for the R-51PM on ebay located in michigan)

5.25" mid bass driver Klipsch R-51PM $329 powered speakers have a built in phono preamp to connect directly to the turntable.

Or separate amplification and speakers, scroll down past the turntables and powered speakers.

Example:

Or what is a nearby town or zip code I can search for used options? Reply here or chat.

Then on a used new to you turntable it's best to install a new stylus once you have it working.

For both a TV and a turntable a Denon AV Receiver $229 with 4K HDMI and the option to add up to 5 speakers for movie, gaming and TV surround sound.

Or if you won't ever add more than 2 speakers the Onkyo TX-8220 $199 stereo receiver has a digital optical input for the TV.

Plus passive speakers on sale:

Or 5 speakers for an AV receiver:

Plus speaker wire, pure copper oxygen free 16 AWG or optional thicker 14 AWG. Then How To Strip Speaker Wire and How to Install Speaker Wire.

Or powered speakers with a digital optical input for a TV:

You need an amp with those speakers. The amplified version of those speaker is the Klipsch R-51PM which are $300. You could buy an 60WPC amp for less than the difference. Possibly, but maybe not as good. Or you could spend more or similar for something as good or better. These are the powered speakers.

Wireless is not preferred for turntable. I would say it's not preferred. Turntables aren't portable, so there are no inherent advantage to wireless connection. There are only inherent disadvantages. These speakers aren't wireless. They are wired as most speakers are. Speaker cables aren't commonly included with speakers. The don't include them because many people will reuse their old cables and they don't know how long the cables need to be. Every application will differ.

The older Fluance RT81 is not worth buying anymore since the newer improved RT82 adds the new optical sensor speed controlled motor for much lower wow and flutter and speed variation and the speed won't drift since the sensor is monitoring the speed 400 times a second. Pass on the RT83 since the cartridge is not any better.

Spend your budget on the best speakers you can get, a subwoofer can be added later.

5.25" Klipsch R-51PM are a size larger than the 4" R-41PM and also have a built in phono preamp to start with for the RT82.

Or consider a separate amp or stereo receiver, or an AV receiver with 4K HDMI, and passive speakers, scroll down past the turntables and powered speakers.

The r-51m are passive speakers and would need an amplifier.

You would need powered speakers like the r-51pm or r-41pm if you are stuck on klipsch.the turntable is a good starter

Speaker amplification with Bluetooth:

  • Fosi Audio BL20A $67 mini amp has 3.5mm input instead of RCA output so use the correct cable or adapter.
  • Sony STRDH190 $149 stereo receiver.
  • Onkyo TX-8220 $199 adds subwoofer output and digital optical input over the Sony.
  • Or if there is also a TV in the room a Denon AV Receiver $229 with 4K HDMI and the option to add up to 5 speakers for movie, gaming and TV surround sound.

Passive speakers under $150 on sale:

Better passive speakers on sale:

Or floor standing towers, then you don't need to buy or build speaker stands:

Or 5 speakers for an AV receiver:

Plus speaker wire, pure copper oxygen free 16 AWG or optional thicker 14 AWG. Then How To Strip Speaker Wire and How to Install Speaker Wire.

Or powered speakers with Bluetooth:

Missing speaker amplification and speaker wire.

A stereo or AV receiver or a mini or compact or integrated amp. Some of them have a built in phono preamp via a Phono input so you wouldn't need to start with the Art DJ Pre II. Then later upgrade to a better $99 iFi Zen AIR Phono instead of the Art DJ. Or powered speakers have a built in speaker amp and a few also have a built in phono preamp.

Speaker amplification with a built in phono stage preamp:

  • Aiyima T5 $159.
  • Onkyo TX-8220 $199.
  • Yamaha A Series $299+.
  • Or if there is also a TV in the room an AV receiver with 4K HDMI and a built in phono preamp starting at $349. Then you can now or later optionally add more speakers for movie and TV surround sound.

For the speakers pass on the pricey for what they are Klipsch R-50M at $279.

Better speaker values:

Or floor standing towers, then you don't need to buy or build speaker stands:

Plus speaker wire, pure copper oxygen free 16 AWG or optional thicker 14 AWG. Then How To Strip Speaker Wire and How to Install Speaker Wire.

Or look for a used stereo or AV receiver and a pair of used passive speakers. What is a Craigslist or nearby zip code I can search? Reply here or chat.

Or if you must have powered speakers then 5.25" Klipsch R-51PM $329 have a built in phono preamp to start with.
