First, contact the guys at one of the good telescope vendors, like astronomics, Hands On Optical (my 'local' shop), or the folks at cloudynights (I did a quick search there, nothing obvious popped up). Your camera might be able to use a T-adapter even though its not a true DSLR, and these guys would be the first to know.

That last one also gave me some ideas to convert/adapt a short table-top style tripod into a functional on-telescope-mounted camera holder. Something like this (I have a similar thing I bought for $1 at a dollar store). Might not be the best/most stable way, but at $15 plus some gaffers tape (like duct tape, but less sticky. used to tape down cables etc on stage in concerts/plays/etc) it might be just what you need.
