I really like the Esbit stoves. I use this:
Prepare and dehydrate/vacuum seal my own meals. Just boil water and add to a thermos. Pretty easy, repeatable system for all meals. Can even cook lunch after breakfast and have a hot lunch on the trail several hours later.
Left over Esbit fuel is nice for a firestarter in wet conditions as well. Even had some luck using the stove with just wood as a fuel source.
The lightweight "stove" I have uses fuel tabs. Not the most versatile, getting a wood stove would be a good idea, but I've only used it to heat up water for drinks and freeze-dried meals like Mountain House. I know Mountain House is a little expensive for food prepping but I get them on sale and take them camping. Unfortunately with an apartment I don't have a lot of room for storage so I try to get stuff that I know I'll use and rotate/replace instead of just letting it collect dust.
I'm adding all your links to my Amazon list, though!
This is a perfect time to eat raw! But also I have a butane/propane personal burner in my van, as well as an Esbit cooking cup that uses fuel tablets - or liquid fuel if you'd like. The burner stove for 'bigger' things, and the Esbit for things like heating water or canned items
