We combine our camping gear to create MEGABED!!!

My partners and I all own some variation on these bed frames. I have an old futon mattress I use for camping. One of my partners likes tatami mats. We link our bed frames together and pile on the sleeping bags and blankets and pillows. 2 full/queen frames can comfortably sleep 3-4 people.

A California King matress and metal frame.

Fed Ex just dumped it on my driveway, can't really blame them.

Absolutely! I have the Zinus Smartbase (the uglier one) 16" on a Cal King and a 14" on a Queen for several years now with some Winkbeds and they are tanks. You do not need a foundation. You have to get a really good bedskirt though, to hide the "hospital" bed look of the frame though! You can also attach a headboard.

Their more normal looking frames are not as heavy duty.
