Thanks 🙂
Yes, I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I found it Amazon, but this particular one is sadly now out of stock:
Fidget Spinner for Kids & Adults, BEST Rainbow Hand Spinner for ADHD, Killing Time, & Stress Relief. Made of Titanium Alloy, Ceramic Bearing, 3+ min, High Speed, & EDC with Portable Case (Pearl) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07231VHRM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_nJwCCbF7YKKT4
I just hated that shiny, ugly, uneven "rainbow" finish.. This spinner also came with 6 little plastic balls.. 3 were a pinkish-pearl color and 3 were a light blue-pearl color. I assume this "marketing strategy" was maybe supposed to appeal to both boys and girls...?
Anyhow, those plastic balls weigh practically nothing.. They aren't/can't be considered as "spinner weights". They are simply decorative. However, they did spin freely in the "sockets" and felt good to fidget with...
I replaced those balls with the closest size steel balls that I could find.. 3/8" diameter slingshot ammo.. I was a little disappointed that the slingshot ammo was not exactly 3/8", but slightly smaller.. Still, the balls fit properly enough for now, until I can find some proper .375" diameter balls to replace them.
Adding the balls, of course added weight to the spinner. It's original weight with 3 of the included plastic balls was around 73 grams. The new 3 slingshot balls added about 10, bringing the new total weight up to about 83 grams.
The balls are a bit smaller, so they don't "stick out" as much from the "ball sockets" as I would like them to. This makes the fidgetability of the balls a little less satisfying. When I find properly sized balls, this will be fixed. Still, the smaller balls are fidgitable and the fact that they are smaller lets them "rattle" around a little bit when spinning and I am finding that I like it that way 🙂
