I ended up using two A118's like the OP. You have two independent SD cards and both front and rear shoot in great quality. The main problem I see with dual channel cameras is the poor quality of the rear facing camera which is partially limited by the ability to write two streams of videos to 1 SD card.
Here's a link to the A118 I bought a while back. They've been going strong for 3 years (front) and 2 years (back)
But now that the A119 is out with a similar stealth form factor and better sensors, I would go with that.
Also, avoid the mistake I made of buying a SanDisk card. SanDisk cards are notorious for not working well with dash cams.
There are several A119 v2s
This one is A119 v2 - EVA Black foam pads I think. Standard A119 v2 with or w/o GPS. ($85-102 USD) Sold by USA Retailers Depot
This one is A119 v2 No GPS - No EVA Foam Pads ($80 USD) Sold by Spy Tec
This one A119 v2 With GPS - No EVA Foam Pads ($89 USD) Ships from and sold by Adorama Camera.
This one is A119 v1 No GPS for some reason - I wouldn't really purchase A119 v1 any more. - No EVA Foam Pads ($82 USD) Sold by BAIKLOV
This one A119 v2 With GPS + Hardwire kit cheap + Black EVA Foam pad (very nice) + Micro SD card 64gb (very nice) - This is actually a good deal. ($124 USD) Sold by BAIKLOV
This one A119 v2 With GPS Black EVA Foam pad ($90 USD) Sold by BAIKLOV
This one A119S v2 With GPS or w/o GPS - Different Dash cam, supposed to be improved over the A119 v2, I think it failed to live up to expectations. Black EVA Foam pad ($95- 110 USD) Sold by OCD Tronic
This one A119 v2 With GPS + Black EVA Foam pad +90 Degree miniUSB Adapter - This is a want for many. W/o the GPS module the straight USB adapter is less than discreet. ($84 USD) Sold by Capture Your Action
Edit>>> This one is A119 v1 - Mislabeled on website - Possibly on purpose mislabeled - very fishy. This one A119 v2 With GPS ($80 USD) Sold by BlackboxMyCar - This one lacks the Black EVA foam pads, and pads appear to be Grey - This was a major complaint by many A119 Users.
Some have the Black Foam pads, which was a major want from A119 users since A119 v1. - More discreet, and foam pad absorbs vibration. Some are good deals, others are meh.
90 degree adapter is only important if you don't use GPS mount. However, this was a major complaint from A119 v1 users having to use (side) dash cam power port - Not discreet, instead of (top) GPS mount power port - Discreet.
Anyways, Different retailers, different No GPS/GPS, and different extras.
Check out the A119
It records at 1440p (not 1080p). A quick YouTube search shows some night time videos. I don't have one yet but it's what I'm recommending to my brother and what I'll get if I upgrade any time soon.
