Good Evening, I am working in a factory developing a simple cycle time display system for operators on our floor. After successfully prototyping with a Raspberry Pi 3B+, developing an operator display, getting it hooked up to sensors and sending timestamps/info to our database, we decided to purchase enough units to cover one production line. Here is our sources for our purchases: (Several Items are repeated due to stock issues)
RasPi 3B+: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BDR5PDW
MicroSD Cards: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XWN9Q99 https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-UHS-I-Memory-Adapter/dp/B00M55C0NS
Case: https://www.amazon.com/SmartiPi-Touch-Pro-Raspberry-Touchscreen/dp/B08VSFB6F5
Power Supply: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MARDJZ4
Official Display: https://www.amazon.com/Raspberry-Pi-7-Touchscreen-Display/dp/B0153R2A9I https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073S3LQ6Q
However, we are running into major problems with the Official Display that were not encountered during the prototyping phase, our system starts, displays the rainbow screen, the terminal, and the startup splash(per usual), after a short time on the startup splash, the screen's output breaks as described in the videos below, the color inverts/reverts and settles in an RGB state.

Tests plugging in the RasPi's HDMI cord to an HDMI capable monitor have no issue. The system starts normally provided that the RasPi-display optical strip is removed.
We are using this guide to setup the cases: https://smarticase.com/prosetup
Check the post on the forums for photos of the system's interior, I believe we have everything appropriately tightened and embedded.
I would like to note that this is fresh material ordered off of amazon. I have shown two videos of two different subdisplays acting like this, maintenance has tested this with five different subdisplays, all have been behaving like this. I'll pray that this is a hardware issue related to this batch or there is an oversight that I didn't account for, if any has any recommendations on what to do next, I'll give as much info as I can.
I was going to say "AFAIK Coiling Dragon hasn't yet had any official (legal) ebooks yet. "... however https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23446644-the-ring states B&N and other sites have having it in the past... but they are BLOCKED now... which means (likely, b/c of course there are other reasons, but this is the most common) the books are under some kind of legal/ToS dispute
Edit: Others have said that it is in the process of still being published, and that could certainly be the case... However the links from the goodreads will likely fail (for amazon at least) even when the ebooks do come out (until they are updated) b/c the URLs for amazon don't use title names for anything other than window dressing it is the /dp/#### that matters:
for example:
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-MicroSDXC-Adapter-MB-ME64GA-AM/dp/B06XWN9Q99/
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XWN9Q99/
both lead to the exact same page
I have 4 of these in my 4 wyze v2 cameras. 1 year later, zero issues.
Samsung 32gb Evo. $7.50 is hard to beat that price.

Can't go wrong with this. It's half your budget so you can even buy 2 if you wanted and it's the desired size. It's Samsung brand so that's a plus.

I also don't know if you are serious, and this sub isn't for real advice, but nonetheless, here's how you can do it.
Get one or more of a simple, easy to use mp3 player such as the SanDisk Clip Jam.
Buy a name-brand (such as SanDisk, Samsung, or Kingston) microSDHC card up to 32 GB.
Buy songs/tracks as DRM-free AAC files from iTunes and MP3s from Amazon.com. The tracks/files from those two services do not rely on having an account anywhere after you download them.
Download and save the the tracks/files from iTunes and/or Amazon MP3 somewhere on your computer.
Copy the files to the microSD card.
Insert the microSD card into the player.
Give the player to your parents.
Show them how to use the player. Show how them to insert and remove the microSD card. To give them additional or different songs, exchange microSD cards with them as needed or give them additional microSD cards as needed.
Alternative
Install Chrome on their computer.
Install and configure the Chrome Remote Desktop add-on on their conputer and your own computer.
Test Chrome Remote Desktop to control their computer from your computer. You will use it at the very least to assist them if they have questions/need help.
Show them how to how to use mp3 player and how to connect it to their computer.
Either:
Have them connect the MP3 player to the computer.
Either transfer the tracks over to the player using remote control, or teach your parents how to do that.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, based on this, now I am more leaned to go for a SD Card. Are yours Samsung by chance? I plan on getting this one. I have been only using USB Loader GX, gotta give that one a try, I didn't know it works with Nintendont.
