I had this problem for two years and I feel like this is the perfect solution. Plug your earbuds into this guy, connect it to your phone via Bluetooth, then run the earbuds through your jacket, down your sleeve and clip it to one of your gloves. You've got music controls right there on your wrist now!
Another option if you can get the settings just right, is the app Noisapp Free which use the gyroscopes in your phone and will pause (or lower the volume of) the music you're listening to when you stop moving (like when you're standing in line or sitting on a chairlift, and will resume it (or raise the volume back) when you start shredding again. Works like magic when you get the sensitivity dialed in.
