Your receiver was released in 2010 - almost time for its bar mitzvah. It's going to get smart alecky and sullen soon and want to attach its cord to hot amplifiers. It's way out of date with modern HDMI, and other features. You should just buy a brand new receiver for $500 or so (if money is tight) and call it day - something like this:
