Unfortunately, these poor x280s haven't aged well.

Intel has always been burdened by insufficient integrated graphics, the x280 models having soldered in RAM killed future proofing of a fairly decent CPU, with 8GB of RAM really hurting performance as windows itself heats up roughly half.

Most current laptops, especially with dedicated graphics, easily work as desktop replacements.
