Right now Amazon has the 6x Pro for $599. It's a third party seller, but you still get Amazon's solid return policy.
UPDATE: A ton of good information in here. Thanks, all! This sub is great.
After posting, I found the Fenix 6X Pro for 455 which boasts 60 hour battery life with GPS (confirmed by at least one comment here).
It would be tough to opt for Coros for 50 more ducks if battery life is similar and maps are worse.
Functionality seems to be good for both. Have seen pro-Garmin and pro-Coros reviews all over, so it is probably preference. I am losing out on a touch screen, but not a deciding factor for me. I don’t think I will be doing too much searching while running.
Hope this is helpful for others. Here are some Amazon links for the Garmin. Coros is same price on Amazon, backcountry, Coros, etc.
