2 things: Google is your friend, and get something like this instead knife
I'll elaborate though. The laws are all readily accessible (I'll send you links if you need) but in California you can carry any locking folders, including assisted knives, aside from certain counties like LA. Autos have to be less than a 2 inch blade and fixed blades need to be worn openly. Something else to consider is your university's policies on the matter. As for the knife choice, the one you linked isn't going to last and the army shit printed on it is tacky. I own both and actually carry the Ontario RAT II more often just because it's a cheap-ish knife I feel comfortable abusing. The Benchmade is extremely high quality and super fun to play with.
