White is problematic because it needs a LOT of pigment to be opaque white. More pigment translates to less PLA material. Dark colors need the least pigment.
The best white filament I ever had (and still have some) is a translucent ivory PLA+ from Filacube. Once I got the temperature calibrated from a temperature tower, it prints like a dream. It doesn't have much pigment in it, which makes it translucent; in fact the first layer looks completely transparent, but after 3 or 4 layers it's quite opaque.
The worst white filament I've ever had was a white "silk" PLA from Tronxy. It had problems with bed adhesion, SELF adhesion (did not stick to itself well at all), warping, and seemed to suck up moisture faster than anything else.
