You want metal acoustic strings. NOT electric, and NOT nylon. You don't need anything expensive, these would work fine.

It looks as if the pins are missing as well. They hold the strings in place. You will need those, but they are not expensive or difficult to replace.

A clip on tuner might also be a good idea.
