I have a very nice Epson and a really cheap knock off but what I use most for punch. needle is paper and sunlight. I print my design and then tape it to the back of my hoop. I hold it up against the window and trace it onto my cloth.

If you think you might transition into tufting one day, a projector is a must. These are what I use.
