Buck makes some good knives in the USA of all kinds that are high quality and I think they tend to be cheaper than Benchmade.
Also, Amazon does NOT always have the cheapest price.
For an example, Walmart right now has a Buck 110 anniversary edition that comes with a sheath, a collectors tin and coin, for only $39.97. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Buck-Knives-110-Folding-Hunter-with-Coin-120th-Anniversary-Knife-Tin/1838188461
The price on Amazon right now for the plain Buck 110 with just the knife and the sheath, it more than TWICE AS EXPENSIVE ON AMAZON!? https://www.amazon.com/Buck-Folding-Hunter-Wooden-Pocket/dp/B07GT3JTVS/ref=sr_1_4?crid=IV1X6Y4VVWX&keywords=buck+110&qid=1676353770&sprefix=Buck+110%2Caps%2C170&sr=8-4
Using the Buck 119 as an example, on Amazon right now I see it for $74.99, but right now at Bass Pro it is on sale for only $69.99 https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/buck-fixed-blade-knife-special
Also, if you buy from a place like Bass Pro in my opinion you are much less likely to get a fake or a returned item, and they have a great 60 day return policy, and they also have a rewards points program and periodic discount and coupons allowing for even better deals at times, and you can usually get free shipping to your door if you buy enough at one time.
And as another example I happen to know of since I was looking at Bowie knives to buy recently, look at this 6.25” Muela Bowie with a stag handle on Amazon right now for $220.87 and compare to a bigger version, 8.25”, of the same Muela Bowie with stag handle for $199 and free shipping at Sportmans Warehouse.
