Some important things to note:

  • Motherboard: I went and changed the overkill one out for a respectable one that can do everything YOU need. It also has WiFi capabilities if you ever wanted that.

  • Storage: I went ahead and removed the overpriced Samsung 500GB main drive to the current price/performance king and you get to save 30 bucks while doing that (for some odd reason, it wasn't listed on PCPP, but it is on Amazon so I had to add it in manually, hence why it is in the custom section). The MX500 is actually a very good storage drive so I did not change that. Remember to put the 500GB one in slot 1 and the 1TB one in slot 2.

  • Video Card: I switched over to the EVGA one as mentioned, it is 15mhz slower than the Gigabyte one but that makes almost no difference whatsoever. The main reason to go with this is because of the extremely good warranty you get with it. This is especially important for a card you plan to keep for a long time. EVGA will help out even when your warranty has run out.

    • Another thing I wanted to say about the video card is that if you are making a PC that you want to last for a very long time, you could wait for the RTX 30 series cards expected to release before the end of the year. Of course, pricing is up in the air and will most likely be more than what you are paying now. Just something to think about though.
  • Power Supply: I actually thought the one you picked was a good choice, but then I found this one for only $10 more but with another 200 watts. There is also a 650-watt version of this PSU on Amazon here. It is currently out of stock and you would have to wait 2 weeks for it to get to you, but it is cheaper than the one you chose while being of the same quality (it's just the 2019 version while yours was the 2018 version). The choice is yours on this one.

Please do ask questions if you have any!
