No judgement either way, pinky promise, but if your friend doesn’t like a lot of the traditional IVF branded things or doesn’t want very obviously infertility related things, this one is for you. I’m really not a fan of any IVF inspirational quote-type things like socks, t-shirts, tumblers, etc. (to each their own, no shaming here I swear!) but I did want to have little reminders and little things to pick me up when things got hard. A few of the things I’ve gotten myself as subtle reminders that still fit my aesthetic and have special meanings only to me are:

-This cream colored blanket with subtle rainbow vibes, aka rainbow shaped tufts (but not rainbow colors) to take to all my appointments because I HATE the paper leg covers during ultrasounds 😂

-This necklace from Made by Mary that has simple gold discs with symbols stamped in them. They’re super customizable and personal and you can pick as many as you want. I got 3 charms - a honey bee (we had been calling our first baby Honey Bee when we miscarried), a rainbow, and a double heart charm on them to serve as reminders of what I’m working so hard for.

-This tiny rainbow moonstone pendant (still rainbow themed but again not rainbow colors really)

-This rainbow shaped stacking ring that blends perfectly with other stacking rings.

-I also used my “treat yo self” budget to swap all of my body care items to aluminum free, mostly fragrance free, BPA free, all the “bad thing” free stuff I could find. Some of my faves have been Lume Deo (gotta have deo for your b.o.) and the tangerine smells like fruit loops ☺️ it’s the only scented product I use now because I trust their ingredients and it was created by a gynecologist looking to conceive. I also like their bar soaps and body wash. Steer clear of the cream deo though, it’s pretty foul smelling until it dries fully and ain’t nobody got time for that before an appointment every day lol.

I could go on and on but I’ll stop there haha. Wearing one or more of these pieces of jewelry and taking my blanket to each appointment has really meant a lot to me. I hope to one day use the blanket to take photos of a newborn or two in it, and I hope to add some mama type charms to my necklaces one day. You’re a VERY sweet friend for even asking this question and for doing something so kind 🥹
