Maybe a coffee scale would work for you. This one has a 3KG capacity and has a .1g resolution. It is $27 from amazon. It has a timer for doing pour over coffee but that's not a big deal and it is fairly water proof.
I plan on making a more detailed post soon, didn’t think there would be this much interest.
BEST SCALES:
1. Cheap, functional, small. $6.99 this scale only beeps when you turn it on and off, not every time you press a button. It also has a timer mode. It also has a magnetic bottom which is easily removable but kinda annoying.
2. Attractive, intuitive, premium feel. $23.99
WORST SCALE:
This scale while had some cool ideas and lots of features it was hard to use and not accurate
If you have questions about the scales let me know.
All of the other scales while functional were either too laggy, had unresponsive buttons, or did not add anything to justify a higher price.
I tested them all with my Gaggia classic pro with a bottomless portafilter and the standard drip tray and found them able to perform in that tiny space.
