Depends on what size room you are talking about. Room for towers or smaller bookshelf?
My opinion is that an integrated amp/passive speakers is usually the best sound for the dollar. A Yamaha Natural Sound (on sale, free US shipping) plus either R-51M Klipsch (amazon) or sharkamino has been recommending Monolith (T4 on sale, free US shipping)
There IS an amp in the C62, but since Crosley doesn't talk about it its probably ver small.
You could probably add something like Klipsch R-51M for 160 and get a jump in quality over the included speakers.
You could also add a decent Amplifier like the Yamaha Natural Sound for an even bigger jump in quality
For both a TV and a turntable a Denon AV Receiver $229 with 4K HDMI and the option to add up to 5 speakers for movie, gaming and TV surround sound.
Or if you won't ever add more than 2 speakers the Onkyo TX-8220 $199 stereo receiver has a digital optical input for the TV.

If you are looking for better sound quality then upgrade the speakers first. The basic while decent to start with for a low budget Edifier speakers are the sound quality bottleneck, it's not the turntable.

After a speaker upgrade you could upgrade to an elliptical tip stylus for the AT-LP60X.
If you don't want to use a receiver or stack it under your turntable with a riser shelf or turntable stand then better powered speakers are an option:
5.25" mid bass driver powered speakers for a small to medium size room:
4" mid bass driver powered speakers for a small room or desktop setup:
Or instead of the receiver you could get a mini amp to power passive speakers:

Fine to start with if you already have the Panasonic CD micro system and it works well enough.
The speakers are inexpensive basic entry level so they are a sound quality bottleneck for the turntable and records. A speaker upgrade will give you better sound quality that the turntable and records are capable of providing. However you will need to also replace the main Panasonic CD micro system component.

The Denon isn't worth $360 and the MSRP is over inflated for what it is compared to many other options in the price range.

RT83 > PA10 > Edifier R1280DBs will work however the $150 speakers will be a sound quality bottleneck for the $350 turntable. Ideally spend just as much or more on the speakers as on the turntable or buy used for half the cost.

If you must start with the low budget Edifiers then consider a later upgrade to better and often larger passive speakers and an amp or stereo receiver. Then move the Edifiers to your desk for computer speaker duty or another room for a pair of Bluetooth speakers. Or you could even start with lower cost Edifier R33BT $79 or Insignia $79 if that is your plan to later upgrade to better speakers up to or past the quailty of the RT83 turntable.

well, if you have active bluetooth speakers or headphones, then you don't need to use the receiver, you can connect them directly to the Sony.
If you dont, then you would need to use the Yamaha to connect passive speakers or normal 1/4" jack headphones. Or go buy bluetooth ...
200 USD should get you a nice pair of Polk T300, or TSi200, or some small Klipsch like R-51

Refurbed AT LP3 for 87. Yamaha reciever on sale for 99 and Klipsch R-51M for 159 plus RCA cables and speaker wire gets you in under your 500 mark
EDIT: you could also go up to the LP120 for $220, it has a better cartridge/stylus and will sound better, but it's manual operation and some people dont like that
