Yeah, you will have to get a harder wheel to be able to spin easier. You will be putting out a LOT of energy skating on softer wheels. I suggest you get something with a hardness over 93, like Rollerbones or All Americans, or even other vanathane wheels (make sure the "old new stock"), which are like the ones you see on the rental skates, but can come in different colors. Take a look on Amazon and eBay.

If you're feeling adventurous, you could always buy some Fo Macs....I have a pair and LOVE them, but I use a clay wheel which is slicker than Fo Macs.
