I've got a pro4x with the stock plates as well, interested to see how it goes for you. Do you take yours off road much?

Is there enough room for the stock plate to flex and not hit the valve? The stock plates are not real stiff, I would be concerned that you adding that valve in place would just make a punch that would go right through the oil pan if you hit a rock or log that makes the plate flex.

Edit: might be worth upgrading your oil pan to one with a side drain: A-Premium Lower Engine Oil Pan for Nissan Frontier 2005-2017 Pathfinder 2005-2012 Xterra 2005-2015 V6 4.0L https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CWBQXSH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_aXPaCb0J763QE
