My reading on the web seems to say that no glass-based protectors will work. Samsung uses ultrasonic reader. I came from OnePlus phone that had a visible light reader and it was flawless with screen protectors.

I'm mad with the vendors who claim theirs work with fingerprint sensor for my specific phone.
