The lids are only considered one-time use if you're actually doing canning-type stuff. The heat softens the seal, and it will be damaged after it is broken free.
For tree use, the seals last forever. BUT, in my experience, marijuana stored in mason jars tends to dry out over time.

They will add moisture to the air as needed, and absorb excess moisture right back. They make different versions for maintaining a higher or lower moisture level, but the 62s seem ideal for our use, no mold, no dryness. Worth every penny, and with care they last forever.

They look pretty and protect the contents from light a little better. Put a Boveda in each jar and you're good to go.
