Literally cut peel stick. And some fine trimming once applied to get it to wrap around the edge (see pic below, you don’t want any exposed edges, and you don’t want it up on the nylon either as it just does not stick)
No water or rubbing alcohol, no heat. Lasted a whole year on my 20.2s skating 3x/week. Sold those pads and last I checked in with the buyer they’re still going strong
I tried the Vvivid stuff but it would not bend around the edges. I can see snow/water getting trapped in there and slowly causing it to peel. Side by side the Vvivid material feels much thicker. I don’t have a micrometer to get an actual number. But feelcrafting-wise it sense to me why it won’t wrap as clean on sharp angles like a knee block or calf wedge.
Here it is applied to my Px3. Tldr the edgework is important
