Not the person you asked, but I've been using the below for a few months without any problems (besides learning how to properly crimp!)

Edit: fixed link
yup. the full kit. probably should have given a link. here you go Ive seen some get the individual parts, or using clones. I avoided clones just to limit headaches.
I made a mistake its not quite a drop in replacement, the mpsm uses JST connectors. and the full kits are just ferrules. So you'll need a set of connectors and a crimping tools. But hey, these are useful to have anyways.
this is the crimping tool id recommend
these are the jst connectors used for the hotend.
if your unfamiliar with crimping, here's a great video from teaching tech.
install was pretty simple. take off the fan (take of the spring clips), undo the 2 screws, take out the stock hotend.
open up the bottom to get at the main board. undo the hot end connectors (heater cartridge & thermistor) thread out the old cables. You can reuse the fan if desired.
thread in the new cables, plug in thermistor, crimp in the cartridge wires, then plug in the heater cartridge jst.
close up all the panels and reattach the springs holding the fan on (this is by far the most frustrating thing. )
re calibrate as needed.
Thanks! That link didn't work for me, I suspect due to the \ instead of /. But I think this is what you were linking to: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078WPT5M1
I appreciate it. The crimper, plus the previously-linked assortment, would be somewhat pricey, at about $45. But they would help add or replace connectors as-needed, which would be nice.
I ended up buying a set of extensions, I think, for the connectors I needed. Then cutting them and soldering them onto the wires in question, which was a pain.
On my stock ender5+, they came with the black colored ones on the thermistor. They are the 2.5mm pitch jst connectors like these from amazon and you would need a crimper like this . They have worked well.
That said, I've had no issues with soldered connections with thermistor wires.
I hate that tool.
I use this one and I absolutely love it!
It's much easier to use and produces better crimps imo.
