So to do what I want, I would need a crossover cable and an SFP+/RJ45 transceiver? What would the physical connections look like? PC - Mellanox NIC - Crossover Ethernet - NAS?

Would the following examples work?

Transceiver: https://www.amazon.com/6COM-10GBase-T-Transceiver-SFP-10G-T-S-Supermicro/dp/B07RN7JCM6/ref=sr\_1\_10?crid=EIIHFEK6K6AC&keywords=10gbase-t%2Bsfp%2B%2Bto%2Brj45%2Btransceiver&qid=1659149892&sprefix=10GBase-T%2BSFP%2B%2Bto%2BRJ45%2Caps%2C101&sr=8-10&th=1

Crossover cable: https://www.amazon.com/C2G-27863-Snagless-Unshielded-Crossover/dp/B0002JFNMY/ref=sr\_1\_8?crid=3N1P6CSCKV381&keywords=crossover%2Bcable%2Bcat6a&qid=1659152405&sprefix=crossover%2Bcable%2Bcat6a%2Caps%2C89&sr=8-8&th=1

I've heard of DAC cables - is there no need for one in my use case?
