Just in case anyone is interested:
Here's the house. I used the bottom floor middle wall to make the "third floor loft". I ripped it into two pieces of the correct depth, and attached those end-to-end. Then I measured the overall length I wanted and cut it on an angle (for no reason other than I thought it would look better than a straight cut). Attached in place with some dowels and wood glue.
Also, before assembling anything, I applied "wallpaper" using patterned scrapbook paper (those 12x12" sheets) and satin Mod Podge. Threw in a couple of "accent walls" in coordinating prints. The "wall art" in the living room is applied this way as well.
Here's the furniture set. I just painted over anything pink because that wasn't the aesthetic I was going for. I keep saying I'm going to sew some tiny bedding and couch cushions next time I have the sewing machine out—we'll see if I ever actually get to it.
