I've actually been working on a project with a motor like this, I used a 12v variation of this one and it was extremely weak (could be just a cheap motor) I could only pull about 6 lbs. I ended up using a winch servo that was rated at 20kg and it was an absolute beast. I stripped off the pot and control board and just used the motor an gear box. It'll pull about 19lbs but won't hold without a controller.

Edit 1: this is the first motor I tried https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F8TGB9L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_XQGeGbQ8CG6N4?psc=1

Edit 2: this is the servo I actually used https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HNTKSZT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_zSGeGbZX7JKME

It all depends on how much you want to spend.

I highly recommend the FlySky FS-GT3B as a budget radio. It has all the settings you would ever need for a basic 2 or 3 channel setup as well as 10 model memory. They're about $35 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/GT3B-2-4G-Flysky-FS-GT3B-Transmitter-Receiver/dp/B00LP1LYAI

As far as steering servos, the Hornet is small, light and RWD, so no need to get a super powerful servo. I've had good luck with cheap ones from Amazon like this: https://www.amazon.com/Miuzei-Torque-Digital-Waterproof-Control/dp/B07HNTKSZT
