I have a very similar one I bought in 2007 that still works perfectly. It looks identical to yours except it has a closable front door/flap (this one here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002IWC9C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Great charger and it works much better than my newer Panasonic Eneloop charger. Sadly, the original Sony batteries only lasted a few years before getting too weak to hold much of a charge. My Sanyo Eneloop batteries are probably 10+ years old now and still hold a strong charge.
