I've (51,M) been using a pee bottle in my tent since '98 when I read Up in the Air by Jon Krakaur (mountaineers use them because it's freezing outside the tent obvs.)
Pee bottle tips:
- Should be opaque! (nobody wants to see your pee—seriously, one year it was a real buzzkill as people kept walking through our camp on the way to the Portos carrying clear milk jugs full of their orange piss. Super gross.)
- I like these 20lb. cat litter jugs — the wide mouth and handle are ergonomically designed for this use (for dudes, at least). Here's the cheapest opaque version on Amazon:

- practice at home and use caution in your tent — an untimely spill can put a real damper on your Burn…
