Damn! She’s like a chiraffe, but reversed! 😂 but very cute though!
have you seen these kind of harnesses?
But I’m using a y harnes from “dog Copenhagen Air harnes”. It’s a little costly, 40 euros in my country.. but it’s the best harnes I have ever owned and my dog hasn’t escaped once.
It has clips, and even one near the neck for dogs that don’t like these things going over their head.
I have a couple that have worked for ours. The first is the Gooby Escape Free Harness. This one worked the best in terms of being escape proof, mainly because it prevented ours from backing out of it. However, the harness is designed to tighten around their body when they pull and depending on your dog and how much she pulls, you may want to avoid this one. While it worked well, I noticed my dog breathing raspy because of how often the harness had to restrain him and immediately stopped to avoid long term damage.
We switched to this this Ruffwear Flagline harness which also has a super handy handle and disperses the weight across his chest and stomach. Even if they do try to escape, it’s harder and would take them longer because of that additional loop around their stomach. Ruffwear also has this one that is similar in design. The only reason we went with the first one is because it has a front loop for training him to walk nicely with a leash.
I realize the Ruffwear ones are pricey even with a lifetime warranty. Here are some others that are similar in design/features. I personally haven’t tried these Amazon ones but other people seem to have had success:
Tuff Pupper Tracker with Handle
Belpro Multi-Use Support Dog Harness
Overall, make sure to take advantage of the adjustment points too. If the harness is on snug, it should be hard for her to slip out. I also personally check the fitting before walks at least 1-2x a week to make sure it hasn’t loosened and still fits right. Hopefully there’s at least one new harness on here that you can try and best of luck
