Totally not answering your question but rather pointing out how pointless dedicated chargers in your garage are.
I've never seen a 3rd party charger that comes with a Tesla connector, only ones that have the J1772 plug. Teslas come with the J1772 charging adaptor so it's not an issue. Orders since the 17th or 18th don't come with the Gen 2 Mobile Connector Bundle (link update) and they're $400 now $275 vs $495 for the Wall Connector.
If you do have the Mobile Connector, I'd do what I did and install a NEMA 14-50 receptacle, deep junction box, circular faceplate, and get the $45 14-50 adaptor cable for the Mobile Connector for about $70 in all.
The wiring, circuit breaker, and conduit (depends on where the wire is run) is the same for the wall mounted chargers or the 14-50 receptacle. Only real differences are the look of it and the non-portability of something that's bolted to the wall.
Current price for the wire gauge necessary for these 50-amp circuits is stupid expensive at ~$6.50/ft ($300 in my case). Adding in another $500 so it can look nice and be stuck permanently on the wall seems a bit stupid to me.
Disclaimer: My receptacle is on a dedicated circuit and only have the one charger so there is no need for the load balancing that the Tesla Wall Connectors can do. I also camp with my Y so having the 14-50 adaptor allows me to pull into a 50-amp hookup RV spot and charge while also having climate control. I am not associated with any of the above links and they are not the exact same parts I used, they are for illustration only.
