Gloves are not a necessity for paintball, they sure help but getting shot in the hand wont lead to any major injuries. I don't personally use any.
I would skip the chest protector and just wear a loose fitting long sleeve t shirt or purchase a jersey, the bagginess of the shirt should deflect most of the paint and keep you cool. You can get a chest protector if youd like, but not needed at all.
Cleaning your gun probably isnt necessary but it would be in good practice to do so. It will keep your gun in tip top shape and will reduce the chances of malfunction.
When a paintball field says they are a field paint establishment they mean that they only allow the use of the paintball bought from their place. It is what keeps most places profitable.
It really depends on how much gas you expended from the match, sometimes you will only be in the game for a few seconds so if that is the case I wouldnt bother. But if you use like a third of it you might as well top her off.
Try not to overshoot. Some people have known to get upset at being shot multiple times. So maybe tag them a few times and give them a chance to call them self out instead of blasting them until they surrender. Plus you save paint that way too.
Some tips include using the side of the bunkers instead of the shooting over the top, working on snap shots( quickly popping out of cover and taking a shot and going back behind cover), work on lane shooting( there are only so many places for people to run and you can essentially make people run into your stream of paint). Most of all just enjoy your time, make sure you have a good breathing mask, and yell out positions!!
