What is indie? It's a bit difficult to draw a clear line on that term. With how many non-AAA games (if we take that definition) that get a retail release for Switch and/or PS4/PS5 every week, it would be a lot of game announcements to keep track and post. Plus, is it necessary to know stuff like Time Management Game Collection for Nintendo Switch has a retail release for example?

Also, not everybody is US-based in this sub. Monitoring and posting retail announcements for all regions is quite a bit.

I think it sounds more like you are looking to know about physical games in some specific genres that may be more niche or have less marketing budget, which is easy to miss. I guess people could post about specific genres, "hidden gems" (it's always subjective), or retail releases that may have a small production, such as the recent post about Grim Guardians Demon Purge being released by PQube.
