Your build can definitely run VR well. Get a link cable with it.
There is a chance your motherboard wont have enough power to keep the headset charged while playing. You can get an internal USB C PCIe card with an additional internal sata power port and it will fix the problem. I got this Startech PCIe card and it works great.
Once you get it up and running you'll want to adjust the refresh rate to at least 90hz, then increase the resolution scaling as much as you can while keeping your FPS with your refresh rate. With your rig you can likely max it out at 90hz
