So I had prepared my reasoning before I commented, but I read your comment and thought about it on the drive home.

My answer remains largely the same, I would pick the T5 for usability and reliability.

The usability reasoning stays the same - it's one of the only ssd/hard drives that has accessories that attach it to the Pocket Cinema line (or any camera with a cage). If you are using your camera solely on a tripod or have super strong tape this might not apply since you can hold the drive or set it on top of the camera, but if you do anything handheld you'll have to devote an entire hand just to holding the drive, which would get really annoying. T5's have accessories that physically attach it to the camera so you never have to worry about that.

The T5 drives are also super reliable and I've had nothing but great experiences. Getting files onto my computer is super fast with them, no problems there. I would give the T5's a mark for reliability, though, for their mounts on the camera cage. There's something about grabbing your camera and seeing the drive there, connected, and not having to worry (for the most part) about available space or if there is an SD card inserted. It's a very visible indication that your storage is set up and you're ready to record. Again, you could make any drive act like this with enough patience, but it's seamless with the T5.
