Just ordered this adapter from Amazon and it's working out of the box with Debian Linux 9 and tvtime. Decent enough S-Video signal and sound.

I am reading back through the original email I received from Timur and it says that Vcam2 should be installed already with the kernel. It also says I can manually install it with the apk. Why would I need to if it comes preinstalled? I'm wondering if it isn't installed on my Nexus7. I tried to download the apk but the file link to download his kernel/vcam2 apk has been disabled (probably only works for a short period of time - it's been a year).
