I use a wide tooth rake for our malamute and I like it even more than the fulminator!
No prob. Idk what you can find in your area but this is the one I own and it gets great usage!
We also use a strong force drier made for dog grooming that pushes hair out from the skin which is helpful. We only got one recently so prior to that our rake got a lot of work! We still rake our dog more than use the drier because it’s really easy and doesn’t require setup.

If she is spayed, then yes they tend to only blow the coat on the backside.
